Step 2: Prepare for Battle

TheKevinStewart, MontyB1976, nbadraftblog, gbbloom, DanOMidwest, Draino3112, tb05, jeffyork85, stevebraband, and sammer.time have all agreed to partake in this madness! Now that I have my army assembled, it's time to strategize.

Today is the last day to indulge by eating whatever you want. I certainly took advantage of that yesterday, and I definitely will again today. But we've also gotta get ready for tomorrow. My plan is to clean house: trash all the stuff that is off limits (and will go bad in the next 9 days), and hide the rest. Out of sight, out of mind... right? I have a perfect track record when it comes to resisting all temptations that I'm not actually faced with. But in 4 days if I'm hungry, and I'm staring down a sumptuous wedge of brie cheese... well, let's just say I'm a lot more likely to succeed if I'm staring down some iceberg lettuce instead. So I'm cleaning out the fridge!

Because it looks like this.

Then I'll tackle the pantry, and tuck all the disallowed foods into what I call the "Naughty Drawer." And I will duct tape it closed. Trust me, it's safer that way.

After that comes the fun part... restocking the shelves with all of the healthy stuff that will be our sustenance for the next 9 days. Boy, do I love grocery shopping. And there's still plenty of time to jump on this bandwagon for anybody looking to lose a little weight. There's power in numbers people!
